Organizations
Organizations
Organizations let you belong to groups and collaborate with others.
Joining Organizations
- All users automatically join "The Public" — a system organization
- Browse Organizations from the top nav to see public organizations
- Click Join to become a member of a public organization
Creating an Organization
- Go to Organizations
- Click New Organization
- Enter a name, description, and set visibility (public or private)
- You'll be the owner and can add members
Roles
- Owner: Full control; can delete the org and manage all members
- Admin: Can add/remove members and change roles (except owner)
- Member: Basic access
Public vs Private
- Public: Anyone can see and join
- Private: Invite-only; members must be added by an owner or admin
Managing Members
As an owner or admin:
- Open your organization
- Go to the Members section
- Add users by ID or invite, remove members, or change roles
Your Organizations
Go to Profile dropdown → My Organizations to see all organizations you belong to and your role in each.
