Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InterlinedList (“the Service”) at https://interlinedlist.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and InterlinedList (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

InterlinedList is a time-series micro-blogging platform that allows users to write messages, organize structured lists and documents, and cross-post content to external social platforms. The Service is offered in two tiers:

  • Free tier: Post messages, follow other users, maintain a public profile, and access the dashboard and feed.
  • Subscriber tier: All Free features plus the ability to create and manage Lists, Documents, Organizations, cross-post to third-party platforms (Bluesky, Mastodon, X/Twitter), and access priority support.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account at adronhall@proton.me.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, post, or upload through the Service (“User Content”), including messages, lists, documents, and any other material. By submitting User Content, you grant InterlinedList a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

5. Cross-Posting to Third-Party Platforms

The Subscriber tier includes the ability to cross-post content to third-party social platforms including Bluesky, Mastodon, and X/Twitter. When using cross-posting features:

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with the terms of service and community guidelines of each destination platform.
  • InterlinedList is not responsible for any account suspensions, penalties, or actions taken by third-party platforms in response to your content.
  • You authorize InterlinedList to transmit your content to the platforms you designate using the OAuth credentials you provide.
  • You may revoke cross-posting authorization at any time through your account settings.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful software.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in a manner that disrupts its operation.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper functioning of the Service.

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions at our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and all content created by InterlinedList, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERLINEDLIST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100).

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at adronhall@proton.me or through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases and we may delete your User Content in accordance with our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days’ notice via email or a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washington State.
